Affiliate Marketing

An affiliate marketing manager is responsible for managing a network of affiliates who work for a brand or business, ensuring the program runs smoothly and the campaign is successful. The aim of using affiliates is typically to drive sales, however, they can also be used to generate leads, free-trial users, clicks to your website, or encouraging downloads.

Responsibilities of an affiliate marketing manager will include:

• Recruiting prospective affiliates
• Communicating with the affiliates providing tools and advice to drive sales
• Creating content for affiliates to use, such as banners, posts, or emails
• Educating affiliates on how to write content, and ways to promote their products
• Analysing the performance of the affiliates
• Reporting this to the brand director
• Devising new ways for affiliates to push sales or optimising existing ones
