My client is a growing global media agency that is built for brands who challenge the status quo. This role sits within a niche and specialised business unit so has a start up mentality but with the back up and support of a global giant! They are based in offices in Shoreditch.
 

The Job

  • Taking ownership of agency’s data backbone systems for reporting and leading the data onboarding for new clients
  • Defining the data analytics technology road map to enable more sophisticated data science projects
  • Being a trusted advisor to our clients and internal teams when it comes to data engineering
  • Balancing longer-term vision and short-term requirements pragmatically
  • Mentoring team members within data and analytics team and being the bridge between the business unit and wider technology teams within the group

 

You

 

  • You are likely to have relevant agency experience, be passionate, ambitious, and curious
  • Degree(s) or working experiences in science/engineering fields
  • Extensive data system development experience (e.g. interacting with APIs using Python or other languages; data manipulation with SQL)
  • Good Sound experience with common cloud based data analytics architecture (e.g. AWS based  and/or Google Cloud Platform based)
  • Knowledge of common marketing technology platforms (e.g. DoubleClick stack, AdWords, Facebook) as well as their reporting APIs and logs (e.g. data transfer files in DoubleClick stack)
  • Good knowledge of ad-serving and media agency workflow
  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail and time management
  • Good written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team but also a self-starter
  • Experience with popular libraries in R or Python for data analysis (e.g. for python, numpy, pandas, scikit learn)
  • Passionate about data visualisation
  • Basic knowledge in statistics - descriptive statistics, regression, probability, sampling, hypothesis testing
  • Basic understanding of attribution and marketing mix modelling
  • Experience with using experimental design and/or econometrics modelling to scientifically evaluate campaign performance and testing results
