A leading media agency in the world with global billings of $40bn+, offices in over 100 countries, and 10,000 people servicing an incomparable client list containing many more global relationships than any other media agency.
For clients, such as PepsiCo, Renault Nissan, Google, McDonald’s, Sony and Bacardi they set the standard in media agency work. The team leads the evolution and execution of the agency’s promise against c.$20bn of client investment within and across the most demanding and complex region in the world.


The Job

The role will reside within both the Bacardi and McDonald’s teams, but will have a dotted reporting line into the Insights/Evidence team with the intention to create a far more proactive and integrated role for our insights capability across the agency.

Working closely with Managing Partners, Strategy Directors and the rest of the client teams, the candidate will be required to work in partnership throughout the entire planning process to help develop a progressive insight driven approach to communication planning which delivers distinctive and effective communication plans for the brands.

The individual will have hybrid background knowledge of insight and data analytics as well as knowledge of more traditional research methodologies and segmentation approaches.  We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to challenge the norms of insight creation, and understands where the insight opportunities lie in an increasingly digital world.

Increasingly we will be looking to develop a more progressive approach to data driven consumer, brand and category insights based on behavioural as well as claimed inputs.

In line with the changing nature of insights work, the successful candidate would need to be comfortable with the data and analytics side of the role. They would be required to build up a strong familiarity and understanding of the analytics divisions, Brand and Data Science in order to deliver functional and holistic solutions for the client.

In addition, as part of any insight leaders remit, the successful candidate would be required to become a champion of their new Planning Approach Vision including the various integrated tools and systems. Here the objective is to encourage uptake and best practice across the agency.

Finally, the successful candidate would also be required to facilitate and oversee an increasingly automated approach to reporting.
