My client are one of today’s leading ecommerce platforms, with a global presence and over 4,500 employees. With the increased demand of business needs, they have developed new product-based solutions which enables organisations to understand their audience, how to target them and to maximise ROI.
Working directly with the inside sales and commercial teams, the lead commercial analyst will support the sales teams with revenue growth, commercial opportunities and ROI.
- Deliver data to provide analysis and insights that will lead to revenue growth.
- Support the global sales teams including; leadership, inside sales, product, strategy and analytics.
- Deliver insights to sales leadership teams on revenue growth and commercial opportunities that will maximise sales potential and ROI.
- Analyse big data sets (billions of rows) from customer segmentation, product uptake, pricing, lead distribution, customer penetration, marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Provide data led recommendations to increase revenue through subscription acquisition and retention.
- Analyse raw data using SQL and big data platforms and ability to confidently visualise in tableau.
- 5+ years experience in a commercial or business analytics related role, supporting sales teams.
- Experience in working with online, digital data or B2B technologies.
- Provide experience in support sales teams, ideally insight sales.
- Provide data driven insights to increase sales, identify revenue opportunities and maximise ROI.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL relational databases; SQL Server & PostGres databases.
- Ability to analyse big data sets (billions of rows of data) Hadoop/Hive is a plus
- Ability to draw insights and visualise data, preferably tableau.
