Lead Data Analyst – Media Agency

Sphere Digital are excited to be working with one of London’s most creative Media Agencies. They are an innovative and quirky company based in the heart of Shoreditch and work with some of Medias most interesting brands including Netflix, New Balance and Harley Davidson.


The Job

  • Taking ownership of analytics output for Tier 1 Clients
  • Collaborating with campaign team to provide regular insights and recommendations
  • Adopting appropriate techniques (either through experimental design or through econometrics modelling) to scientifically evaluate campaign performance and testing results
  • Being the bridge between the business users (both internal and external) and the data engineering team and contributing to reporting dashboard roadmap



  • Good Experience in data analytics role (ideally in the field of marketing, advertising, consumer research)
  • Expert experience in data manipulation with SQL
  • Good working knowledge of ad-serving and media agency workflow
  • Knowledge in statistics, econometrics & attribution
  • Good written and verbal presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of popular ad-servers as well as their reporting APIs and logs (e.g. data transfer files in DoubleClick stack)
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (R or Python)
  • Experience with popular libraries in R or Python for data analysis (e.g. for python, numpy, pandas, scikit learn)
