Performance Analyst – Media Agency

My client is a global media agency and one of the biggest agencies in the world. They are currently recruiting a Performance Analyst to support the Performance Director, along with the wider Analytics function to deliver against client requirements in media campaign performance evaluation and analysis. As Performance Analyst you will spend most of your time managing deliverables against specific client outputs, mainly through reports and visualisations using the core Analytics toolset and technology.

 

The Job

  • Manage and deliver key analytical projects across multiple client accounts and assist the Analytics team to improve its analytics capability
  • Assist towards the use of statistical and predictive modelling techniques to further improve our portfolio of client offerings; experience in either R, SAS or SQL is needed
  • Develop strong relationships across the Analytics team, within your core client-focused group and across the wider Performance department
  • Work with the existing Analytics toolset to utilise on existing client business, including data visualisation technologies (Omniscope, Tableau, Datorama, Power BI), reporting tools (Microsoft Excel and R) and measurement platforms (DoubleClick Campaign Manager and Google Analytics) would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Undertake regular trainings in core analytical technologies and platforms to deepen the team’s knowledge and understanding of both existing and new players in the market
  • Help to develop capability in evaluating and improving digital media performance

 

You

  • Experience of the R or Python
  • Experience with SQL, database architecture, AWS or Redshift 
  • Some experience of statistics and / or understanding of Econometric modelling techniques
  • Ability to scope, manage and deliver analytical projects
  • Strong data manipulation and visualisation skills
  • Knowledge of marketing and media industry metrics and systems, including digital media and web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture) would be a bonus, but not essential
  • Experience of data visualisation technologies (e.g. Omniscope, Tableau, Datorama, Power BI)  
  • Ability to present analytical projects to a non-analytical audience
