Our client is a leading multichannel media business with a number of publications.  They’re looking for a motivated individual to join the US programmatic team to manage sales & accounts that are responsible for revenue generation to their publisher sites. 


The Job

  • Implement, maintain, and optimize 3rd party monetization partners, programmatic platforms, and header bidders to drive revenue for US/CAN programmatic channel
  • Take lead in onboarding of new programmatic partnerships and platform solutions to ensure organized integration, manage onboarding timeline, and execute successful launch
  • Work closely with AdOps and Dev during onboarding and ongoing management of partners
  • Work closely with Programmatic Analyst to understand reporting output and assist in making recommending troubleshooting solutions and revenue optimizations
  • Take lead in communicating technical/operational issues to external partners as well as internal ops/dev teams and see through to resolution
  • Track partner revenue and actively participate in monthly and quarterly partner reviews
  • Proactively work with partners and platforms to maximize spend across the inventory
  • Proactively work with partners and platforms to be informed of new solutions/changes
  • Serve as main conduit between US Head of Programmatic and US/UK ops and dev teams
  • Collaborate with Programmatic Analyst and internal ops teams to optimize ad server setup
  • Consistently and accurately update ad server set up to reflect true partner performance
  • Help internal ops team troubleshoot and solve ad delivery issues and yield inefficiencies
  • Set up Deal IDs for both guaranteed and non-guaranteed private marketplace deals
  • Analyze PMP performance and communicate performance insights to external buyers
  • Troubleshoot PMP issues around delivery and performance
  • Assist Programmatic Analyst and internal ops with pricing floor and rules enforcement
  • Create products: Using their ad formats and selected DFP, DMP and Viewability partner, you will enhance the sales opportunities by combining and producing products to support and increase revenue
  • Use internal tools to gather audience data, competitive insights, ad performance, and traffic trends
  • Understand all platform UIs and reporting functions. Produce ad hoc reporting upon request



  • Bachelors or higher from accredited university
  • 1-3 yrs programmatic advertising experience, publisher side a plus
  • Familiarity with the programmatic ecosystem and terminology, working knowledge preferred
  • Publisher side experience working with SSPs, DMPs, and DFP
  • Experience monetizing display, video, native, and outstream via programmatic channels a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, presentation experience a plus
  • Comfortable working with large data sets, conducting ad hoc data analysis and deciphering data discrepancies
  • Advanced spread sheet and database management skills including Macros, formulas and Pivot tables
  • Knowledge of Display, Mobile & Pre-Roll products and adservers
  • Desirable knowledge of the ever changing digital landscape including tools and trends especially: Adblocking, DMP’s, Viewability, Flash, HTML5, IAB, Coalition of better ads, GDPR, ads.txt
  • General troubleshooting skills within Web developer tools, consoles, HTML, JavaScript & Rich Media with the ability to "think outside of the box"
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
