The Job

  • Manage a large global client or multi-client patch of business supported by a team of traders and traffickers
  • Working alongside the Client Director, build long term strategic operational plans for the client that dovetail with the overarching client goals, taking ownership of tasks within the plan and ensuring their successful delivery
  • Ensure full delivery and performance to a variety of success metrics on the programmatic campaigns within your patch, flagging issues to the Client Director and Operations Director when required
  • Provide deep dive optimisation analysis and create informed data-backed recommendations of new tactics and partners to elevate performance against our KPIs
  • Work with the New Business team on strategic RFP’s leveraging both prior campaign experience and in-depth knowledge of available products and solutions
  • Function as a programmatic expert to clients, maintaining regular contact via update calls and meetings and being a key contributor to quarterly/ half yearly business reviews
  • Act as a thought leader within the business, attending events and reading articles to develop an extensive knowledge of programmatic trends and sharing that within the team, the wider business and to clients directly
  • Train and develop staff in the Operations team on our technology, tools and processes. Supervise and mentor the team on your patch identifying development opportunities, flagging performance concerns and celebrating success
  • Proactively seek out ways to identify and solve inefficiencies proposing improvements to processes and workflows. Work with other teams as required including product, technology and business intelligence to implement solutions to the benefit of the whole team
  • Work closely with other Senior Traders to ensure best practise is shared across client teams



  • Extensive hands-on role managing multi-DSP programmatic campaigns at an agency, advertiser, or DSP
  • Experience pulling data and generating advanced reports within a UI, via API or both
  • Strong grasp of the overall digital marketing ecosystem and the role that programmatic plays within it
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (including Excel pivot tables and basic formulas), web browsers and common troubleshooting tools (Chrome Developer Tools, Fiddler, HttpFox, HttpWatch, etc.)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and ability to operate with poise under pressure
  • Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise and focus
  • Creative thinker, able to develop and implement innovative solutions to help meet campaign objectives
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to breakdown and articulate complex topics
  • Ability to work in a strong and international team environment
  • Proactivity and enthusiasm for the role, company and industry
  • Extraordinarily organized with a strong technical mind and background. Ability to delve into technical conversations with our data science and engineering teams.
  • A desire to constructively challenge the status quo both internally and with clients
