My client is the leading digital sports content and media group. With over 3,000 employees globally they are looking to add an experienced Senior Data Analyst to their London office

 

The Job
 

  • A leader to generate actionable insights into data to improve the effectiveness of marketing & drive exponential growth of a key product in international markets
  • Analytical ownership of high-visibility initiatives, helping to further our understanding and drive strategic decisions within a core and rapidly growing part of the business
  • Creating actionable plans to support marketing from the data available from campaign level data to our first party platform data and financial information
  • Monitor subscriber acquisition and retention, identify trends which will assist in planning marketing campaigns
  • Support the marketing budgeting process, helping to optimise budgets across period and countries
  • Take the lead on cross-market analysis and market optimisation, gathering key data and insights by market

 

You

 

  • 4+ years experience in an advanced analytics role, Advanced user of Excel
  • Highly numerate with understanding of marketing
  • Great at synthesising data into actionable and digestible formats
  • An (Hons) graduate preferably with a masters degree in an analytical field (Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics)
  • A sports enthusiast
  • Highly analytical and gained experience in a fast paced environment, experience is manipulating large data sets, to draw out critical points that supports analysis
  • Rounded knowledge of marketing channels and media platforms, track record in creating engaging and compelling decks which have a clear commercial narrative (proven record in compiling data and findings into reports and presentations that will help executives understand the findings and make better business decisions)
  • Experience in Tableau
  • Experience working in an environment that has internal product teams in a way that embraces individual momentum rather than process driven group thinking, ability to prioritise and filter out “noise” from critical issues / long term projects and maintain focus on value add analytics
  • Strong passion for understanding customer behavior and engagement with the product
  • Understanding of VOD and subscription marketing, and love of sport a plus
