The Job

  • Complete development and implementation of social media strategies and campaigns
  • Manage the social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, interaction plans and media buying
  • Work with International partners (franchise and wholesale) to share relevant content in line with the global social strategy
  • Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Control brand social marketing budget, ensuring appropriate spend is used effectively to gain the most ROI
  • Ensure alignment with the Digital Marketing team to understand the promotional/product social advertising strategy, updating them on the brand social advertising strategy
  • Manage external agencies to ensure delivery of brand strategy and commercial goals
  • Become an advocate of the brand in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
  • Work with manager on the global influencer program, building an active brand ambassador network and supporting on influencer campaigns
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  • Fan/data acquisition strategy to grow the social database and increase revenue from brand social activity
  • Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing and PR teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and be constantly abreast of any new industry developments to keep the brand at the forefront of the market         
  • Work with the Search Co-ordinator to follow SEO best practice and deliver the over-arching Search strategy in social media
  • Creation and delivery of regular metrics that measure the performance and ROI of social media
  • Utilise all brand content (imagery, video etc.) and re-configure for relevant social platform
  • Working with the relevant teams on creating bespoke content for social
  • Work with trade and editorial teams to manage the UGC content strategy



Key Experience, Skills & Abilities

  • Digital native, switched on, expert user of social platforms
  • Trend and celebrity savvy
  • Prior experience working with Influencer and bloggers
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • A strong working knowledge of digital marketing techniques, such as email marketing and SEO
  • Technically proficient in using analytics to source performance data on how well social has performed
  • Strong awareness of the principles of social CRM and how to build and reward advocacy via social media
  • Ideas driven individual who uses all available resources to come up with brand appropriate campaigns with measurable goals and objectives
