What is Progress?


Progress is our bespoke career development plan that gives you the structured framework to progress and drive your career development at Sphere. There are a variety of career paths and roles available for you to take and we will develop you into an industry expert, a bigger biller, and if it’s right for you, a manager, director... 

Even at graduate level, we give all of our employees a chance to play a part in building our business. We give you the tools to develop, take on more responsibility and truly build your career at Sphere.

​At Sphere, you're guaranteed to have two progress reviews a year - one in July and one in December. Everyone has a pay rise and promotion target in place and knows what they have to do to achieve these to progress through the grades from A to F.

A man wearing a grey jumper“After completing my Business Management degree at Swansea University in 2013, I ventured to London to find a new challenge and met Ed and Niall who were incredible to deal with from day one. 

Joining as a consultant, the job was both challenging and extremely rewarding. I was encouraged to work with clients straight away as well as manage my own roles. 

After a successful first year, I was promoted to Senior Consultant and offered more responsibility. As Sphere continued to grow I moved into a Team Leader role, became an Account Manager on one of our largest clients and helped run our charity days, summer and Christmas parties and other initiatives around the office. 

The company vision and where we would be after 5 years was always clearly communicated and we have surpassed these stretching ambitions! The trust that Ed and Sphere had in me was incredible, allowing me to constantly move into more challenging roles and this was backed with excellent training programmes and support.

At the age of 25, I have taken full ownership of the whole Operations UK team. I am excited for what is in store over the next 2 years, in such an ever-changing and fast-growing recruitment business!”
